“ Took the ferry from NYC to Hoboken and found Empyrean Indian Kitchen just a short walk from the terminal—super convenient even though it’s not right on the waterfront. We were welcomed with a complimentary rice popper at the table—light, crispy, and a fun start to the meal. For appetizers, we had the steamed paneer momos, which were unique and absolutely delicious—soft dumplings with a flavorful paneer filling and a zesty dipping sauce. For the main dish, I had the Kashmiri chicken kabab, which was smoky, tender, and richly spiced—definitely the highlight. We ended with rasmalai for dessert—chilled, delicate, and lightly sweet, the perfect finish. The vibe is clean and modern, with friendly staff and quick service. If you’re visiting Hoboken by ferry, this spot is an easy and tasty stop for some elevated Indian cuisine. ”
